Grant Requests & How to Apply

Applications in full or enquiries of eligibility will be treated in total confidence.

The Sunninghill Trust will consider grantsĀ for the benefit of individuals and groups in the environs of Sunninghill, Ascot and South Ascot, for the relief of hardship, assistance to the sick and elderly, and to support recreational and educational facilities.

The Sunninghill Trust will not consider grants for individuals or groups that would otherwise be the responsibility of central or local government, health trusts or health authorities, or which are substantially funded by them. We do not support retrospective funding, i.e. needs that have already been addressed.

The trustees take an active role in their grant-making, and may research the area of need, request help from specialist advisors and make visits to bring forward suitable proposals. We may carry out follow up visits to assess what is being achieved and any lessons resulting from it. Please choose from one of the following:

How and when will you know if you have been successful?

All applications will receive a standard acknowledgement letter or email. If your proposal is a candidate for support you will hear from us within a maximum of 12 weeks of the acknowledgement. Urgent requests will be expedited. The Sunninghill Trust will consider proposals, so long as they demonstrably and closely fit their specific areas of interest. All decisions are at the discretion of the Trustees.
