The Sunninghill Trust would like to record its special thanks and appreciation to Roger Bailey who is standing down as a Trustee after nearly 10 years’ service.
During his tenure Roger has supported the Trust in many ways and has enabled the Trust to continue support local residents both old and young.
Commenting on his time as a Trustee Roger says “Everyone assumes that Sunninghill and Ascot are areas where the streets are lined with gold. Nothing can be further from the truth and I have been surprised by the support needed locally. I have been delighted to be able to help the Trust to support local residents and touched to see how the charity can improves the lives of so many.”
Wayne Phelan, the Chairman of the Sunninghill Trust, commented “The Sunninghill Trust’s main objectives are the relief of hardship, assistance to the sick and elderly and support of recreational and educational facilities. We rely on the goodwill and support of our volunteer trustees and Roger has been a great example of the loyal support and dedication required in this role. I would like to thank him personally for his contribution to the Trust and the support he has offered local residents.”
